Womens Boots - Why Stop at One Pair?

Despite the fact that it feels like we spend most of the year wearing our autumn/winter clothes (this includes wearing our trusty boots too) a lot of people still only have one or two pairs of boots in their wardrobe. This really isn’t many if you weight up the fact that we buy way more clothes to keep ourselves looking up to date when it comes to fashion. But it shouldn’t be underestimated how much a new pair of boots can update a whole wardrobe, its all about choosing the right pair. With boots of every possible style and texture spilling into the shops at the moment, there has never been a better time to choose some for yourself and the choice is literally endless!

Right, Autumn is definitely here and Winter is but a few steps behind that, indeed, I got my winter quilt out the other day so that signifies that Summer is gone and so are the long, hot days we never quite had (unless we managed to go abroad!?). But, back to the matter in hand, with a new season comes new styles, new ranges and the shops fill up again with gorgeous clothes and chunky knit cardigans and of course, with lovely boot of every description and style that leave us desperate to earn more money to buy our favourite pair because we ‘need’ them. Of course we do, we can’t explain how good it makes us feel when we pull on a pair of new boots what we know look ultra cool and funky and the styles are so pleasing to the eye and (with the flat heel a big seller this season, we can walk in them too!).

What’s hot this season then? What should you be looking out for? With so many styles to choose from you will surely find a pair that are right for you and your fashion, from ‘girl-next-door’ in floral prints and long cardigans to full-on glamour puss in sophisticated tailoring you’ll find a style of boot that suits you down to the ground.

Here are a few tips on what to go for and what women are loving this season. Well its safe to say that you can’t go far wrong with a pair of stylish biker boots this season, tall or calf length, this old favourite is flying off the shelves and because most styles are flat, you can wear them everywhere and still get away with wearing them for a night out. Wedges are also in big demand this season, with the easy-to-walk in heel, you can go as high as you like and not wobble! Its clear that Kylie is working the ankle boot this season after she was photographed in a sexy pair recently and as a style-icon, she know whats hot.

We are also loving the shoe-boot and its grown-up glamour. There are loads to choose from and their versatility is their winning feature as they go with skirts or dresses (we’ve seen them on the catwalks) and they look great with the new trouser shapes and the rolled-up hems sported by Victoria Beckham at Fashion Week. If you want to be ahead of the bunch this season then get yourself a pair of fur boots, fur is massive this season with from old school ‘bear’ boots to the merest hint of fur – you can’t go far wrong.

So once you’ve checked out the new trends and picked out your new wardrobe, make sure you put some time aside to devote to choosing yourself a fantastic new pair of womens boots transition into Autumn/Winter will surely be complete.
